Process

NSK RINGS is equipped with all facilities necessary for mass production. In the Forging Workshop, forging formers are used for hot forging. Then products are manufactured on the integrated process line. (Consisting of Annealing Workshop and CNC Turning Workshop)

Raw Material Identification & Storage

We have sufficient loading and unloading facility at the raw material yard and area for storing different grade of steel separately using proper identification of each bar as per color code chart.

We carry out strict incoming inspection & testing of raw material like dimension, visual, chemical composition, physical properties, metallurgical testing etc. as per material control plan. We follow system of FIFO (First In First Out) for material usage. Raw material storage Capacity: 1OOO MT.

Forging Shop

Forge shop is equipped with forging presses and hot rolling facilities in multiple lines. Raw material heating facility includes induction bar heating furnaces with automatic temperature controller (Three Furnaces).

Spherodized Annealing

These furnaces are specially designed to have uniform annealing for whole lot with multiple temperature monitoring points. with PLC controlled & it captures real time data and saves automatically. However, data is compiled at the end of each cycle & report is generated.

Machining

We are equipped with CNC Turning Centre of various capacity (OD 70 mm to 350 mm) supported by trained personnel and sophisticated measuring equipments, in order to supply components in fully machined condition where ever precise machining is required. Fine-tuned checks, especially at every stage of machining, are the feature of company's quality assurance discipline.

Also equipped with rough turning facility for supplying components without finish CNC turned condition as per customer's requirements

Final Inspection

We carry out rigid stage inspection as well as final dimensional, visual & crack detection inspection, besides 100% checking to confirm raw material grade prior to transferring finished products to packing & dispatch department. Magnetic particle Inspection(MPI) is a nondestructive testing (NDT) process for detecting surface and shallow subsurface discontinuities in ferromagnetic materials such as iron, nickel, cobalt, and some of their alloys. The process puts a magnetic field into the part.

Heat Treatment

We can also provide the through Harding & tempering process after machining. One of our director Mr. Manish Kalola have the experience worth 25 years in the Heat Treatment Service of Through Hardening Process in all types of Bearings Rings Since 1998. Our heat treatment facility named Rockwell industries an IATF 16949:2016 certified company.

Bearings Parts Heat Treatment

Our pit type Neutral Hardening with mar quenching process enable us to vertically process part such as All types of Bearings ring & Bearings rollers specification and minimizing distortion for reducing Grinding Time. We offer Mar quenching process, for Rings & other critical shape components. This process is reducing cracks, distortion, and residual stresses.

SAE 52100, 100Cr6

The process is control by fully automatic Scada system.

Metallurgical Laboratory

NSK RINGS hascreated Quality Control Section as a plant management system. Each process has its own quality standard; only non-defective products proceed to the following process, thus increasing process quality. We adopt the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) management cycle in all units to share common awareness of problems among Sections. We strongly support “Built-in Quality” through “Total Quality Management”.
